In diverse occasioni ho avuto modo di vedere dal vivo le opere di Van Gogh, quadri che mi hanno sempre emozionata per le pennellate, i colori, la passione e l'anima che custodiscono al loro interno ma visitare la mostra Van Gogh Alive a Firenze è stato qualcosa di diverso. Non è un'esposizione classica di opere ma un'esperienza extrasensoriale amplificata anche dalla suggestiva atmosfera della chiesa sconsacrata di Santo Stefano al Ponte. Si entra, ci si siede e ci si lascia cullare dalla musica (Handel, Viseur, Schubert, Kusturica, Part, Chabrier, Sakura, Zorn, Delibes, Godard ecc.) mentre oltre 3000 immagini, ad altissima definizione, vengono proiettate grazie al sistema Sensory4 su tutta la superficie della chiesa portandoti così all'interno dell'opera. Non è una semplice mostra ma un viaggio, suddiviso in “movimenti”, alla scoperta dell'arte e della personalità del pittore, dove si ripercorre la sua vita, si ammirano i suoi dipinti, e si leggono pensieri e stralci di lettere scritte al fratello. Il progetto espositivo itinerante, prodotto da Grande Exhibitions e Perlage Grandi Eventi, coinvolge e guida lentamente verso il mondo interiore, il pensiero, le emozioni e l'immaginario del pittore. Tutto questo è possibile grazie a un sistema unico che incorpora 40 proiettori ad alta definizione, una grafica multi canale e un suono surround come quello delle sale cinematografiche. Le immagini sono enormi, nitide, cristalline e appaiono così reali che viene il naturale desiderio di toccarle con mano. Una mostra nel cuore di Firenze che vi consiglio di non perdere assolutamente, per visitarla avete ancora tempo fino al 2 giugno 2015.

Several times I had the possibility to admire the works of Vincent Van Gogh, paintings that have always amazed me for the brush strokes, colors, passion and the feelings that they keep inside. But visiting the Van Gogh Alive Exibition in Florence has been something different. It’s not an exibition in the conventional way, but an extraordinary experience, amplified by the evocative atmosphere of the deconsecrated church of Santo Stefano al Ponte. Just enter, sit and be taken by the music (Handel, Viseur, Schubert, Kusturica, Part, Chabrier, Sakura, Zorn, Delibes, Godard ecc.), while over 3000 high definition images, are projected through the “Sensory4” system all over the church walls bringing directly inside the paintings.It’s not a simple exibit, but a journey, divided in “movements”, to discover Van Gogh’s art and personality; a journey to recall his life, to admire his paintings, to read the letters he worte to his brother.The itinerant exibition project, produced by “Grande Exhibitions” and “Perlage Grandi Eventi, captivates and slowly guides through the inner world, the tought, the emotions and the unconsciuos of the painter. All of this could take place with 40 high-definition projectors and a digital surround sound system. Images are so crystal clear that give the impression they could be really touched.I really recommed to visit this show in the heart of Florence; it will open until June 2015, the 2nd.
