Fatte con un iPhone o un tablet... difficile da credere, vero? Si tratta delle 24 migliori fotografie selezionate dalla giuria come finalisti della seconda “The pro-series exibithion”. Fanno parte del New Era Museum, il museo di iPhoneografia creato dal fiorentino Andrea Bigiarini che ha raccolto e catalogato 50mila immagini. Oggi, giovedì 18 giugno 2015, alle 18,00 la premiazione nel Convento degli Agostiniani di Santo Spirito a Firenze.
Il dibattito sulla qualità delle foto e dei mezzi utilizzati è più che mai aperto ma sembra che si inizi ad accettare l’ idea che una buona fotografia possa essere realizzata con qualsiasi mezzo addirittura con un iPhone.
Non bisogna certo dimenticare che nel 2013 la Magnum ufficializzò la nomina di Michael Christopher Brown tra i gotta del fotogiornalismo mondiale; il primo fotografo al mondo a pubblicare un servizio realizzato mediante telefonino sul National Geographic Magazine.

Pictures taken with an iPhone or a tablet….it’s hard to believe, isn’t it?
These pictures are the 24 best photos selected by a committee as finalists of the second edition of “The pro-series exhibition”. They are part of the “New Era Museum”, which is the museum of “iPhonography” created by the Andrea Bigiarini in Florence; Andrea picked and organized about 50.000 images.
The award ceremony will be held today, Thursday the 18th of June, 2015, at 6 p.m. in the augustinian convent of Santo Spirito.
The discussion about the quality of the pictures and the quality of the devices, is more than open; but it seems that the idea that a good photo can be taken with any kind of device (even with an iPhone!), is slowly spreading.
It should not be forgot that in 2013, Magnum Photos society appointed Michael Christopher Brown among the leading figures of worldwide photojournalism; he was the first photographer in the world to publish a reportage on the National Geographic Magazine, fully made with a phone camera.
